Effective date: October 12, 2026 · Last updated: October 15, 2026 · Operator: ANA Enterprises LLC (doing business as Shredify)
Shredify is where people lock in, chase PRs and push each other. Keep it competitive, keep it real and keep it respectful. These guidelines apply to everything you post or share in Shredify: profiles, photos, proof videos, comments, kudos, squad names, challenge entries and leaderboard scores. They're part of our Terms of Service.
The basics
- Lift each other up. Hype people up, give kudos, and give advice only when it's asked for.
- Be honest. Log what you actually lifted and ate.
- Keep it safe. No one should get hurt chasing a rank.
- Respect privacy. Yours and everyone else's.
Not allowed
Harassment, hate and bullying
- Body-shaming, mocking someone's size, shape, progress or lifts, or "you'll never make it" pile-ons.
- Hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or serious illness.
- Threats, intimidation, stalking, doxxing (posting someone's personal info), or encouraging others to harass someone.
Nudity and sexual content
- No nudity or sexually explicit or suggestive content. Shirtless or sports-bra progress shots are OK only if they're clearly fitness-focused and non-sexual. No underwear-only shots, no genitals or buttocks exposure, no sexual poses.
- No rating or ranking of bodies or attractiveness ("hot or not," "rate my physique 1–10"). Shredify ranks lifts and consistency, never bodies.
- Anything sexualizing minors is banned, and we'll report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
Dangerous or harmful content
- Promoting or selling steroids, SARMs, prescription drugs or other illegal or performance-enhancing substances, or explaining how to get them.
- Promoting extreme dieting, purging, starvation, "pro-ana/pro-mia" content, or calorie intake far below safe levels.
- Encouraging dangerous stunts, lifting without safety equipment to "prove it," or self-harm.
Cheating and fake data
- Entering lifts, reps or food logs you didn't do in order to climb boards.
- Faked, edited, sped-up or borrowed proof videos.
- Multiple accounts, account sharing, or "boosting" someone else's rank.
Other
- Spam, scams, ads, affiliate links, selling coaching or products without our permission.
- Impersonating anyone, including Shredify staff, gyms, coaches or creators.
- Posting other people (for example in the background at the gym) without their permission, especially in locker rooms (never).
- Content that infringes someone's copyright or trademark.
- Illegal content or activity.
Proof video standards (verified ranks and badges)
For a lift to count on global top spots or proof-only badges, your video must:
- be one continuous, unedited take (no cuts, filters that hide the bar or speed changes), up to 15 seconds;
- show the plates and bar clearly so the weight can be counted, and your full body and full range of motion;
- meet standard depth and lockout for the lift: squat with hip crease below the top of the knee; bench with the bar touching the chest and a controlled press to lockout, no bounce; deadlift to full lockout with hips and knees extended;
- be you, recorded within 7 days of logging the lift;
- not show other gym members who haven't agreed to be filmed (crop them out or film at an angle).
We may reject videos that don't meet these standards, and we may ask for another one. Rejection isn't a punishment. Just film it again.
Automatic filters
We use automated tools to catch profanity, slurs, nudity and spam before content goes public (for example, every photo you choose to share is scanned for nudity first). Filters aren't perfect, so we also rely on your reports.
How to report and block
- Report: tap ••• on any post, comment, photo, video, profile, squad or leaderboard entry → Report → choose a reason (harassment, nudity, cheating/fake lift, dangerous content, spam, other) → add details (optional) → submit. Reports are confidential; the person won't know who reported them.
- Block: tap ••• on a profile → Block. A blocked person can't see your profile, follow you, give you kudos, comment on your content or join your squad, and you won't see theirs. They aren't notified.
- Email: report@getshredify.com (or support@getshredify.com) for anything you can't report in the app, including copyright issues (see the Terms of Service).
What happens after you report
- We aim to review reports within 24 hours and act within 48 hours. Reports involving threats, child safety or self-harm get top priority.
- Content may be hidden automatically while we review it if several people report it.
- We'll let you know in the app when we've reviewed your report.
Enforcement
Depending on how serious it is and whether it's happened before, we may:
- remove the content;
- send a warning;
- remove scores, ranks or badges and/or ban you from leaderboards (for cheating);
- temporarily restrict posting, commenting or squad features (for example for 7 days);
- permanently ban the account, and block new accounts made to get around a ban.
Zero tolerance (immediate permanent ban): child sexual exploitation, credible threats of violence, selling illegal drugs or steroids, doxxing, and posting intimate images without consent.
Repeat violations lead to automatic escalation.
Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, email appeals@getshredify.com [or support@] within 30 days with your username and what happened. A different reviewer will take a look, and we'll reply within 7 days.
If someone's in danger
If someone's in immediate danger, call 911. If you or someone you know is thinking about suicide or self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US). Report the content in the app too, so we can act.
