Subscription & Auto-Renewal Terms

These terms are part of the Shredify Terms of Service and cover paid plans bought on getshredify.com through our payment processor, Square. Purchases made later through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by Apple or Google under their terms (see Section 10).

1. Plans and prices (US dollars)

Taxes may be added where required. The price, billing frequency and renewal terms are always shown on the checkout screen before you pay.

2. Founding price lock

If you start a Monthly or Yearly plan at the founding price, you keep that price for as long as your subscription stays active without a break. If you cancel and your access ends, or a renewal payment fails and isn't fixed during the grace period, the founding price ends. If you subscribe again later, the then-current price applies. If we raise standard prices for new subscribers later, that increase won't apply to active founding-price subscribers.

3. Automatic renewal: what you agree to

Monthly and Yearly plans renew automatically. By checking the consent box and tapping the purchase button, you agree that:

• your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (every month or every year) until you cancel;
• we (through Square) will charge your payment method the recurring price shown at checkout (for example $9.99 every month for Base Monthly or $99.99 every year for Pro Yearly, plus applicable tax) at the start of each new period;
• you can cancel at any time online, as described in Section 5.

We'll keep a record of your consent for at least 3 years, or 1 year after your subscription ends, whichever is longer.

4. Free access through partner gyms and promotions

Partner-gym codes and similar promotions may give you free Pro access for a limited time (for example 2 months).

• No card, no auto-charge: redeeming a gym code doesn't require a payment method, and your free access won't turn into a paid subscription automatically. When it ends, your account switches back to locked unless you choose a paid plan.
• Before your free access ends, we may remind you and offer Base or Pro. You only pay if you actively choose a plan at checkout.

5. How to cancel (easy, online, any time)

• In the app or on the web: Settings → Subscription → Cancel subscription. It's one tap plus one confirmation, and it's available at all times. You don't need to call or email us.
• Or email support@getshredify.com from your account email with "Cancel" in the subject, and we'll cancel it for you.
• When it takes effect: cancellation stops all future renewals right away. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account switches back to locked.
• Confirmation: we'll show an on-screen confirmation and email you a cancellation confirmation you can keep.
• Retention offers: we may show you one offer (for example a discount) while you cancel, but the "Cancel subscription" button stays visible and works the whole time.
• Deleting your account also cancels a web (Square) subscription, and we'll tell you that before you confirm. Just uninstalling or removing the app from your home screen does not cancel. Subscriptions bought through Apple or Google have to be cancelled in their store settings (see Section 10).

6. Founding Lifetime

"Lifetime" means for as long as Shredify offers the Service (the life of the product), not your lifetime. It covers the features included in Shredify Pro, as they evolve. It's personal to you and non-transferable. If we ever permanently shut down the Service, we'll give at least 60 days' notice and let you export your data. If native apps launch, we intend to honor Founding Lifetime access in them by signing into the same account.

7. Reminders and notices we'll send

• Purchase confirmation email right after you subscribe, with your plan, price, billing frequency, renewal terms and how to cancel (with a direct cancel link).
• Yearly plans: a renewal reminder 15 to 45 days before each annual renewal, with the price and how to cancel.
• Annual reminder (all auto-renewing plans): at least once a year, an email confirming what you're subscribed to, how often and how much you're charged, and how to cancel.
• Price changes: if we ever change the price of your plan, we'll email you 7 to 30 days before the new price applies, with how to cancel. (Founding-price subscribers keep their price under Section 2.)
• Material changes to these terms: advance notice and how to cancel.

8. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we'll email you and may retry the charge over a 7-day grace period, during which you keep access. If the payment still fails, your paid access ends and the subscription is cancelled. (The founding price is lost; see Section 2.)

9. Refunds

• You can cancel at any time to stop future charges. Except as required by law or stated here, payments are non-refundable, and we don't give partial refunds for unused time in a billing period.
• Goodwill window: if you email support@getshredify.com within [7] days of your first charge on a plan, or of an annual renewal you forgot to cancel, and you haven't used Pro meaningfully since, we'll refund that charge.
• Arc Pass and Founding Lifetime are one-time purchases and are non-refundable once you've used them, except as required by law or if we fail to provide the Service.
• If we terminate your account without cause, we'll refund the unused prepaid portion (see the Terms of Service).
• Chargebacks: please contact us first, since we can usually fix billing issues quickly.

10. Purchases through Apple or Google (from December 2026)

If you subscribe inside the iOS or Android app, Apple or Google handles billing, renewals, cancellations and refunds under their terms. Cancel in your device's subscription settings. Your Pro access works across web and app when you sign into the same Shredify account. Prices in the app stores may differ from web prices: in the App Store and Google Play, Base is $14.99/month and Pro is $24.99/month, and yearly plans are the same as on the web ($59.99 and $99.99).

11. Changes to plans and features

We may change which features are included in Pro, add new plans or retire plans (we'll stop selling Founding Lifetime once 500 are sold or native apps launch). We won't take away the core of what you paid for during a period you've already paid for.

Build requirements: the consent checkbox must be unchecked by default and separate from the Terms checkbox; don't pre-select the yearly plan in a misleading way; show the business name ("Shredify / ANA Enterprises LLC") and a support contact; log the timestamp, plan, price and the text version of the consent.
